Shane McMahon still involved with WWE?
As previously noted, it was reported Shane McMahon has been quietly “let go” from WWE after receiving backstage heat for his producing work during the men’s 2022 Royal Rumble match.
It appears that Shane still has some involvement with WWE despite it being reported that he is “out” of the company. Marco Masotti, who is the owner of South Africa’s Sharks rugby team, wrote the following on Twitter…
“So grateful for a night out with brothers Shane McMahon (son of WWE Vince) and Doug Cifu (co-owner of Florida Panthers). Excited for a partnership between WWE and rugby.”
However, it doesn’t look like Shane will return to WWE television soon as Steve Carrier of RingsideNews.com reported that WWE has decided on a replacement for him at Wrestlemania 38.
