Seth Rollins reportedly suffered a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus during match against Jinder Mahal

As previously noted, Seth Rollins reportedly suffered a legitimate injury during his match against Jinder Mahal on the January 15th 2023 edition of WWE RAW.

In an update, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted that Rollins sustained a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus. Rollins previously tore his MCL in early 2017 but was able to perform at Wrestlemania 33. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported the following about how long Rollins might be out of action…

“Rollins could return from a torn meniscus, if surgery is required, in 3-4 weeks if he was able to push it, but 4-6 weeks is usually a more likely recovery. Rollins should be good to perform at Wrestlemania this April but other major events before that could be questionable.”

Rollins has been pulled from WWE live events though mid-February and Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following…

“I’m told the plan of as now is for Seth Rollins to address his health & future as World Heavyweight Champion this Monday night on RAW.”
