Seth Rollins being attacked by The Vision on WWE RAW was potentially a “heavy creative pivot”

As seen during the October 13th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, The Vision turned against world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the angle was done because Rollins suffered an injury at the Crown Jewel PLE on Saturday.

Fightful Select had some additional details on the situation. Multiple sources gave major credit to Rollins for finishing the match at Crown Jewel and appearing on RAW. With Rollins being cleared for a physical segment on RAW, there is optimism that the injury might not be as bad as initially feared.

Fightful also noted the following about the angle…

“WWE had Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attack Rollins today, which was hinted to us was a heavy creative pivot, without being explicitly stated. Fightful Select spoke to a source in WWE that indicated that they’d heard that a Bron Breakker split originally wasn’t planned or in the cards until next year, somthing that lbou from Self Made PW had heard previously.”
