“I think entrance music is one of the most underrated success factors in professional wrestling.
The right music can take somebody to another level. The wrong music can hold somebody back before they even walk through the curtain.
It creates instant recognition. It triggers an emotional response before the wrestler even comes out. It tells the audience who that character is before they’ve done anything. It amplifies the crowd reaction, and over time it becomes part of that wrestler’s identity.
It’s one of the very few things in wrestling that can completely change the feeling in an arena within seconds.
I’ve always thought it’s a much bigger deal than a lot of people realize.”
