Rush makes an announcement regarding his future in the wrestling business

As previously noted, Rush’s AEW contract was set to expire as he signed a one-year contract in 2022. Rush’s last AEW match was at the May 24th 2023 Rampage taping.

While it said that WWE had interest in him, Rush made an announcement via Twitter that he has signed a new contract with AEW…

“I started a new chapter in my personal and professional career, people doubted I could make it, today I want to say that im 100% AEW. Thank you @TonyKhan, thank you fans and thank my LFI brothers. We can now rule the wrestling world.”

Rush also shared a video of himself signing his contract and hugging AEW President Tony Khan.
