Rhea Ripley’s Smackdown title gets a new name/design change and match made for Money in the Bank

During the June 12th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, Smackdown women’s champion Rhea Ripley was presented with a new championship title. It was also revealed that the title is also being renamed to the “women’s world championship.” Asuka was presented with the new “WWE women’s championship” on Smackdown as WWE has eliminated the brand names for the titles.

In the same segment, Cody Rhodes confronted Dominik Mysterio and a match was set up between them for the 2023 Money in the Bank PLE.
