Results of Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter at AEW Full Gear 2022

Toni Storm (c) vs. Jamie Hayter for interim AEW women’s title took place at AEW Full Gear 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Storm knocked Hayter to the outside early with a hip attack and continued her attack on the floor. Hayter turned the tide and sent Storm into the barricade. Storm was able to counter Hayter and sent her into the ring post. Both eventually ended up back in the ring.

* Hayter took control of the match but started having issues with the referee. Storm hit another hip attack and a cross body off the top but Hayter kicked out.

* Rebel ran down to ringside as Storm and Hayter traded shots. Storm was busted open from one of the strikes. Hayter then hit Storm with the title while the referee was distracted. Hayter then hit a lariat but Storm kicked out. Rebel was kicked out by the referee.

* Storm hit her own lariat to Hayter but Hayter kicked out. Storm was sent to the outside of the ring and Britt Baker hit the stomp to Storm on the title. Storm was sent back into the ring and Hayer hit a storm zero but Storm kicked out again.

* Storm recovered and hit the storm zero but Hayter kicked out. Baker got on the apron and Storm knocked her off. Hayter took advantage and hit the Hate breaker but Storm kicked out yet again.

* Baker exposed the turnbuckle pad. Storm was sent into it and Hayter pinned Storm with a lariat to win the interim title.
