Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Serena Deeb for the AEW women’s title took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Here are the highlights…

* The two had a test of strength and exchanged holds on the mat. Rosa put Deeb in a pendulum and the crowd chanted “this is wrestling.” Deeb sent Rosa into the ring post and then hit a neckbreaker into the ropes to gain control.

* Rosa made a comeback and sent Deeb into the middle turnbuckle. The match went back and forth with the two exchanging holds. Rosa hit the Death Valley Driver but Deeb kicked out. Deeb put on the Figure 4 and then hit the Detox but Rosa got a foot on the rope.

* Deeb hit a powerbomb and put on a cloverleaf submission but Rosa got to the rope again. Rosa recovered and hit a superplex followed by the Fire Thunder Driver to retain the title.
