Results of Theory vs. Bobby Lashley at WWE Money in the Bank 2022

Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States title took place at WWE Money in the Bank 2022. Here are the highlights…

* The crowd was firmly behind Lashley with chants as he quickly sent Theory to the outside of the ring. Theory got back in the ring and Lashley went for a spear but Theory escaped to the outside again.

* The crowd chanted “Theory sucks” as Theory tried to keep his distance from Lashley. Theory was eventually able to take down Lashley with a clothesline.

* Theory worked over Lashley on the mat for a few minutes but Lashley was able to regain momentum. Lashley hit a powerslam but Theory kicked out.

* Theory raked Lashley in the eyes (referee didn’t see) and hit a spear. Theory went for A-Town down but Lashley countered with the Hurt Lock and tapped out Theory to win the title.
