Results of The Bloodline vs. Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Matt Riddle at WWE Backlash 2023

The Bloodline vs. Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Matt Riddle took place at WWE Backlash 2023. Here are the highlights…

* The faces had the early momentum against The Usos but then Solo tagged himself in and gained the upper hand for his team. The Bloodline worked over Zayn and Jey pilled Owens off the apron to prevent a tag. Riddle was eventually able to make a hot tag. Riddle cleaned house and received a standing ovation from the fans.

* Owens tagged in and delivered a swanton bomb but Jimmy kicked out. Jimmy tried to superkick Owens but missed and hit Jey. Owens hit Jey with a popup powerbomb but Jey kicked out. Owens and Jey engaged in a hockey fight and then traded kicks. Both guys ended up down and got a standing ovation.

* Zayn tagged in and hit Jimmy with a Blue Thunder bomb but Jimmy kicked out. Zayn came off the top but was caught with a double superkick from both Usos yet still managed to kick out. Jey started trash talking and slapped Zayn for causing the Bloodline’s issues. Jey was going to finish off Zayn but Solo tagged himself in again. Jey then tagged himself back in and told Solo to get back on the apron. Zayn took out Solo with a helluva kick. Zayn hit the Helluva kick to Jey but Solo broke up the pin.

* Things broke down with everybody in the ring. Solo almost gave Jey the Samoan spike by mistake and the two had a heated face-off. Riddle was on the verge of beating Jey but Solo had tagged back in when Riddle wasn’t aware and finished off Riddle with the Samoan spike to win the match.
