Results of the Blackjack Battle Royal at AEW Double or Nothing 2023

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Ricky Starks vs. The Butcher vs. The Blade vs. Bandido vs. Komander vs. Lee Moriarty vs. Big Bill vs. Ari Daivari vs. Tony Nese vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Trent Beretta vs. Kip Sabian vs. Rey Fénix vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Brian Cage vs. Jay White vs. Juice Robinson vs. Keith Lee vs. Dustin Rhodes for the AEW International title took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2023. Here are the highlights…

* This was a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal.

* Sabian nearly eliminated Cassidy right when the match started.

* Several wrestlers brawled on the outside without entering the ring first to “officially” enter the match. Komander hit a top rope dive to the outside but was not eliminated since he never entered the ring.

* Swerve and Cage stayed on the outside of the ring for several minutes before Cage finally entered the ring. Cage was involved in spots with the Lucha Brothers, Komander, and Bandido.

* Swerve finally got in the ring and went at it with Keith Lee. Cage ended up eliminating Lee and the crowd loudly booed.

* Starks eliminated Jay White but was then attacked by Juice Robinson and White on the outside of the ring. Starks got back in the ring but was eliminated by a big boot courtesy of Big Bill.

* The final four were Bill, Swerve, Penta, and Cassidy. Bill eliminated Penta and took down Cassidy with a boss man slam. Bill and Swerve worked together but Swerve double crossed Bill and eliminated him.

* Cassidy and Swerve went back and forth and the crowd started a “this is awesome” chant. Swerve hit the swerve stomp but taunted Cassidy. Cassidy managed to fight back and both ended up on the apron. Prince Nana grabbed Cassidy’s foot and Swerve went for another stomp but Cassidy countered with his foot. Cassidy then eliminated Swerve by kicking Swerve’s hand from the rope to retain his title.
