Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky for the vacant women’s world title took place at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025. Here are the highlights…

There was a feeling-out process between the two women in the early moments. They traded pin attempts, and the crowd gave them an ovation. Iyo gained the upper hand with a springboard dropkick, followed by a suicide dive. Iyo went for a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on the floor, but Stephanie was able to counter. Stephanie then came over the top with her own dive onto Iyo.

Back in the ring, the two women exchanged shots. Stephanie targeted Iyo’s leg with a Dragon Screw. However, Iyo was able to regain the advantage despite her leg hurting. Iyo went for the Moonsault, but Stephanie got her feet up. Stephanie delivered another Dragon Screw followed by the Devil’s Kiss. Stephanie hit the SVB, but Iyo kicked out.

Both ended up on the top turnbuckle, which led to Iyo hitting Stephanie with an Avalanche Spanish Fly. After exposing her knees, Stephanie delivered a Bullet Train attack in the corner. Iyo went for the Moonsault again, but Stephanie moved. Stephanie then came off the top with a Spiral Tap to score the victory and become the new champion.

After the match, there was a show of respect between the two. Pyro went off as Stephanie celebrated her victory with her dad at ringside.
