Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles for the RAW world heavyweight title took place at WWE Night of Champions 2023. Here are the highlights…

* It was confirmed that Styles would move to RAW if he won.

* The two had a feeling out process in the opening moments as the crowd sang Rollins’ song. The two were evenly matched and traded nearfalls as the match progressed. Rollins hit several big moves including an inverted superplex into a Curtain Call but could not put Styles away.

* Rollins hit a suicide dive to the outside but started selling his knee after the landing. Back in the ring, Styles capitalized by applying the calf crusher but Rollins was able to escape.

* Styles delivered a pedigree to Rollins but Rollins kicked out. Styles went for the forearm but was caught with a superkick. Rollins went for the stomp but his knee buckled. Rollins managed to hit a pedigree but couldn’t make the cover. Rollins then finally managed to hit the stomp and scored the win to become the new champion.

* After the match, Triple H presented Rollins with the title.
