Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross took place at WWE Night of Champions 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Zayn wore a Keffiyeh for his entrance, symbolizing his heritage. With the support of the fans, Zayn built up early momentum in the match. However, Kross gained the advantage by executing a Saito suplex. Kross laughed at Zayn as he delivered his offensive moves which fired up Zayn. Despite this, Kross was able to quickly regain control of the match.

* Zayn managed to counter Kross’s hammer move with a Blue Thunder Bomb. He followed up by delivering an exploder suplex in the corner, but Kross quickly turned the tide by countering Zayn’s attempted Helluva Kick with the Kross Jacket submission hold. Zayn’s hand dropped twice but he summoned the strength to lift his hand and eventually reached the rope. As Kross began trash-talking, Zayn seized the opportunity and hit a Helluva Kick out of nowhere to pick up the win.
