Results of Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed at WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed for the Intercontinental took place at WWE King and Queen of the Ring 2024. Here are the highlights…
* Gable had Otis with him but sent Maxxine to the back. Gable told Otis to “stick with the plan when it’s time.” The crowd chanted “you suck” during Gable’s entrance.
* There was a video package for Zayn before his entrance. Fans turned on their cell phone lights in support of Zayn during the match.
* Gable used the ring apron skirt to gain the advantage on Zayn. Gable came off the top with a missile dropkick to Reed and then continued his offense on Zayn. However, Zayn was able to send both the outside and took them down with a dive. Back in the ring, Zayn hit a sunset flip powerbomb to Reed but Reed kicked out.
* Zayn went for a blue thunder bomb to Reed but couldn’t get him up. Reed gave Gable a powerbomb while Gable superplexed Zayn. Reed went for a moonsault to Zayn but missed and then Gable hit Reed with a moonsault but Zayn broke up the pin.

* Zayn applied an ankle lock to Gable while Gable had an ankle lock on Reed. Zayn was finally able to hit Reed with a blue thunder bomb but Reed kicked out. Reed regained control and took down both guys with a suicide dive to the outside of the ring.

* Back in the ring, Zayn and Gable exchanged German suplexes. Reed came over and Gable ended up suplexing both guys at the same time. Gable called out for Otis to get involved and Otis attacked Reed. Gable wanted Otis to attack Zayn as well but Otis wouldn’t do it. Gable yelled at Otis and shoved him. Gable slapped Otis and Otis went for the shot at Zayn but missed and hit Gable. Zayn got back in the ring and pinned Reed with the helluva kick.
