Results of Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu at WWE Clash In Italy 2026

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu in a tribal combat match for the world heavyweight title took place at WWE Clash In Italy 2026. Here are the highlights…

The two men milked the crowd reactions prior to locking up. Fatu attempted the Tongan Death Grip right away, but Reigns slipped to the outside. Fatu went after Reigns, and they brawled around ringside. They fought into the crowd by the arena’s stairs and concession stand.

After the two returned to the ringside area, Reigns threw the steel steps from inside the ring into the face of Fatu on the outside. Reigns got Fatu back into the ring and built up momentum. Fatu was able to avoid the Superman Punch and regain the advantage. Reigns eventually hit the Superman Punch, but Fatu kicked out.

Fatu applied the Tongan Death Grip, but Reigns escaped. Reigns considered using a kendo stick or chair but pulled out a toolbox from under the ring instead and smashed it into Fatu’s hand. Back in the ring, Reigns continued to target the hand.

After avoiding a spear, Fatu tried to send Reigns through the barricade but was hit with another Superman Punch. Reigns then sent Fatu through the barricade with a spear and brought him back into the ring. Reigns delivered another spear, but Fatu kicked out.

After exposing the steel turnbuckles around the ring, Reigns sent Fatu into them, but Fatu still managed to fire back with a spear. After Fatu missed a moonsault, Fatu countered a spear with a Samoan drop. Fatu connected with the moonsault, but Reigns kicked out with a low blow in the process.

After the two exchanged strikes, Fatu reapplied the Tongan Death Grip, but Reigns countered and sent Fatu into the exposed turnbuckle repeatedly. Reigns speared Fatu through a table set up in the corner, followed by another one for the victory. After the match, The Usos placed the Ula Fala around Reigns’ neck as they looked down at a fallen Fatu in the corner.
