Results of Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at WWE Summerslam 2022

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Brock Lesnar for the unified WWE Universal title took place at WWE Summerslam 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Before the match, Glenn “Kane” Jacobs announced that 48,449 were in attendance for the show.

* Reigns received a lengthy entrance complete with pyro and fireworks. Reigns had the fans acknowledge him. Lesnar got into a tractor and drove it down to the ring.

* Lesnar posed on top of the tractor and then did his own introduction as a “big ass country boy.” Lesnar jumped off the tractor onto Reigns to start the match.

* The fight quickly went to the outside of the ring and Lesnar suplexed Reigns off the steel steps. The two brawled in the crowd and then came back by the ring. Reigns gave Lesnar a Samoan Drop through a table and then hit Lesnar in the head with the steel steps. Lesnar was put through another table but he beat the 10 count.

* Back in the ring, Reigns hit a spear but Lesnar got back up. Lesnar made a comeback and turned the tractor back on. Lesnar hit Reigns with the steel steps and a piece of the table. Reigns was able to beat the 10 count. Lesnar put Reigns in the frontloader of the tractor and dropped him in the ring.

* Lesnar took Reigns to suplex city but Reigns got back up. Lesnar hit an F5 but Reigns barely beat the count. Reigns put on a guillotine but Lesnar countered into one of his own and Reigns passed out. Reigns still managd to get back to his feet before the 10 count.

* Lesnar got back into the tractor and lifted the ring with Reigns still in it. Reigns fell to the outside and the referee counted. The Usos then showed up and attacked Lesnar but Lesnar fought back. Lesnar put Heyman through the announce table with an F5 but Reigns hit Lesnar with a spear but Lesnar got back to his feet.

* Theory showed up and hit Reigns with the MITB briefcase. Lesnar hit Theory with an F5 but then the Usos hit Lesnar with superkicks. Lesnar got back up but Reigns hit him with another spear. Lesnar beat the count again but Reigns then hit Lesnar repeatedly with the briefcase. Lesnar beat the count again but Reigns hit Lesnar with the WWE title belt. Lesnar beat the count yet again so Reigns grabbed the Universal title and hit Lesnar with it. Reigns and Usos grabbed every object they could find at ringside and buried Lesnar under it. Reigns finally was able to get the win.
