Results of Roderick Strong vs. Joe Gacy at WWE NXT WarGames 2021

Roderick Strong (c) vs. Joe Gacy in a singles match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship

* Diamond Mine and Harland were at ringside for the match.

* Gacy wanted a hug in the early moments but Strong wasn’t having any of it.

* Strong hit an angle slam but Gacy kicked out. Strong put on a boston crab but Gacy was able to break out and put a crossface on. Strong ended up getting his foot to the rope and Diamond Mine pointed it out to the referee. Strong went to the outside of the ring and Gacy hit a dive to Strong and members of Diamond Mine.

* Harland grabbed Ivy Nile which distracted Gacy. Strong took advantage and scored the pinfall victory with a fisherman backbreaker.
