Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano took place at WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday. Here are the highlights…

* Americano had a Mariachi band play for his entrance. Before the match started, Americano shoved AAA’s Vikingo at ringside and was kicked in the face.

* Fenix built early momentum with a top-rope missile dropkick, followed by a crossbody to Americano on the outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Americano gained the upper hand with a German suplex. Americano came off the top with a backward 450 splash, but Fenix kicked out. Americano tried to pull off the mask but was unsuccessful.

* Americano placed a metal plate in his mask. Fenix hit the Goodbye Amigo kick but then began selling his leg due to hitting the plate. Americano applied an ankle lock, but Fenix countered out of the move. Americano delivered a headbutt with the plate inside his mask followed by a top-rope flying headbutt to score the victory.

* Vikingo helped up Fenix after the match.
