Results of Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong at AEW Revolution 2024

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Roderick Strong for the International title took place at AEW Revolution 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Strong wore a mask and cape for his entrance. Cassidy’s ribs were taped up. Cassidy tried to score the early victory but couldn’t do so. Strong took advantage of the situation by dropping Cassidy ribs-first on the ringside barricade. Strong continued to target Cassidy’s ribs in the ring.

* Strong gave Cassidy a gut wrench powerbomb into the corner from the second rope and there was a “holy shit” chant from the fans. Strong continued to dominate and mocked Cassidy’s taunts.

* Cassidy made a comeback with a diving DDT and a series of stomps. Cassidy hit a panama sunrise but Strong kicked out. Cassidy hit an orange punch followed by a beach break but Strong got his foot on the rope. Strong recovered and pinned Cassidy with the End of Heartache to win the title.

* After the match, Kyle O’Reilly made his return and hugged Strong. However, when Strong offered an Undisputed Kingdom shirt, O’Reilly turned it down and left the ring.
