Oba Femi vs. Dragon Lee for the NXT North American title took place during the WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024 PLE. Here were the highlights…

* Lee wasted no time going after Femi. Lee came off the top with a double foot stomp but Femi recovered and was finally able to stop Lee’s momentum. Femi tossed Lee around the ring and then shoved him over the top rope. Lee was barely able to beat the ten count.

* After being overpowered for several minutes, Lee was able to make a comeback but couldn’t put away Femi. Lee managed to hit a sitdown powerbomb out of the corner but Femi kicked out. On the outside of the ring, Femi regained the upper hand and slammed Lee onto an announcer chair. Back in the ring, Femi powerbombed Lee and scored the pinfall victory.
