Results of Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander at AEW Worlds End 2024 PPV

Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Kris Statlander for the TBS title took place at the 2024 AEW Worlds End PPV event. Here are the highlights…

* The two had a feeling out process in the opening moments. The match went to the outside and Kris slammed Mercedes onto the apron. Back in the ring, Kris continued her momentum and a powerslam and a fallaway slam. Mercedes was able to gain control with a powerbomb onto the apron.

* Back in the ring, Mercedes hit a backstabber but Kris kicked out. Mercedes went for a meteora off the second ropes but Kris was able to counter. Kris started to build momentum with a rolling German suplex. However, Mercedes regained control with a tornando DDT.

* Mercedes went for the Three Amigos but kept going with several more suplexes and received cheers from the fans. Mercedes came off the top with a frogsplash but Kris kicked out.

* Kris made a comeback with a package piledriver but Mercedes kicked out. The two ended up back on the outside and Mercedes gave Kris the statement maker on the floor. Kris’ foot was caught in the ring frame and Mercedes came off the apron with a meteora. Kris had to untie her boot to escape the frame. Mercedes gave Kris a piledriver on the apron and Kris barely beat the ten count.

* Mercedes applied an STF but Kris got to the bottom rope. Statlander went for Saturday Night Fever but Mercedes put on an ankle lock submission. The two traded nearfalls and Mercedes was finally able to get the win. Kris received a standing ovation from fans after the match.
