Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter in the Owen Hart tournament final took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2025. Here are the highlights…

* The two went back and forth in the early moments. Mercedes gained an advantage with a meteora off the apron to the floor. Back in the ring, Mercedes wore down Jamie’s lower back with various holds. When Jamie started to make a comeback, Mercedes targeted her back again. Hayter took down Mercedes with a lariat but couldn’t make the cover, and Mercedes rolled to the outside.

* After Mercedes regrouped, she hit Jamie with three backstabbers. Mercedes applied the Statement Maker submission, but Jamie powered out of it. Jamie delivered a running lariat, but Mercedes managed to kick out. Jamie hit a tombstone piledriver, but Mercedes kicked out again. Jamie went for another lariat, but Mercedes countered with a rollup DDT to win the match. Mercedes ran up the stage and celebrated with the trophy as pyro went off.
