Results of Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley at WWE Summerslam 2024 PLE

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the women’s world title took place at the WWE Summerslam 2024 PLE in Cleveland, OH. Here are the highlights…

* Triple H introduced the show and Jelly Roll performed in the ring as WWE video clips were shown. Afterwards, host The Miz spoke in the crowd.

* Liv immediately slipped to the outside of the ring and made Rhea chase after her. Rhea eventually tricked Liv and gained control of the match.

* Rhea went for Riptide early but Liv was able to avoid it. Liv sent Rhea into the corner and Rhea’s shoulder was hurt. The referee asked if Rhea wanted to stop but Rhea said no.

* Liv went for a dive to Rhea but Dominik took the bullet for Rhea. Rhea intentionally drove her shoulder into the announce desk to pop her joint back into place.

* Rhea’s shoulder was still giving her issues. Liv grabbed a chair but Rhea avoided being hit and took down Liv with the Riptide. Rhea went to use the chair but Dominik took it away and warned her about getting disqualified. Liv took advantage and hit Rhea with oblivion but Rhea kicked out.

* While Dominik distracted the referee, Liv hit Rhea with oblivion onto the steel chair and won the match. Afterwards, Dominik helped up Liv and kissed her on the lips while Rhea watched in rage. Pat McAfee called Dominik a “piece of shit.”

* Backstage, a furious Damian Priest asked Judgment Day where Dominik was. Priest asked if Finn Balor knew what was going to happen and Balor said he didn’t.
