Results of Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kenny Omega at AEW Revolution 2025

Konosuke Takeshita (c) (with Don Callis) vs. Kenny Omega for the International title took place at AEW Revolution 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Don Callis was on commentary for the match.

* The two men had a feeling-out process in the early moments. Takeshita gained the advantage, and then Callis took cheap shots while the referee was distracted. Takeshita pulled a table from under the ring.

* The two brawled on the outside, and Takeshita pushed Omega off the barricade, causing Omega to crash into another barricade. Omega was selling his midsection, and Takeshita continued to deliver offense back in the ring. Omega started to make a comeback, but Callis grabbed at Omega’s foot.

* Outside the ring, Takeshita gave Omega a Release German Suplex. Takeshita then turned a table sideways and suplexed Omega stomach-first onto it.

* Back in the ring, the two traded shots. Omega managed to make a comeback but couldn’t finish off Takeshita with several pinfall attempts, including an Avalanche Powerbomb. Omega went for the One-Winged Angel but couldn’t deliver the move. Takeshita took advantage and hit two Powerdrive Knees, but Omega kicked out at one. The crowd popped, and there was a “Fight Forever” chant.

* The two exchanged more strikes, and Omega took down Takeshita with a V-Trigger. Callis interfered again, but it didn’t work, and Omega was able to counter Takeshita’s pin attempt to win the title. Omega celebrated with the title as pyro went off.
