Singles match for the NXT Championship

* Scarlett was not with Kross and the crowd chanted “We want Scarlett” during his entrance. The crowd also chanted “Hardy” at Kross.

* Joe had a strong start but Kross caught Joe with a Saito suplex and then knocked Joe to the outside with a forearm smash.

* Joe was able to make a comeback. After Kross kicked out of a powerbomb, Joe immediately transitioned into a crossface submission but Kross got to the ropes.

* Joe got the coquina clutch on Kross but Kross got out and put the Kross jacket on submission on Joe. Joe was bleeding from the mouth but powered out of the submission.

* After a few back and forth minutes, Joe managed to hit the muscle buster and scored the pinfall victory over Kross to win the title and become the first three-time NXT champion.
