Results of Jade Cargill vs. Anna Jay at AEW Double or Nothing 2022

Jade Cargill (c) vs. Anna Jay for the TBS Title took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Cargill had Las Vegas showgirls for her entrance. The Baddies were shown at ringside.

* Cargill had the early advantage but Anna Jay started to make a comeback after hitting a superplex. Anna Jay continued to build momentum but Cargill rolled to the outside of the ring. Keira Hogan and Red Velvet tried to interfere but Anna Jay hit them with a Double DDT.

* “Smart” Mark Sterling threw a crutch into the ring and distracted the referee. Anna Jay ended up using the crutch but Cargill was able to kick out. John Silver ran down to the ring and took down Sterling.

* Anna Jay got the Queen Slayer submission on but Cargill powered out. Stokely Hathaway (formerly Malcolm Bivens) then appeared for another distraction. Cargill had a Jaded off the top rope and scored the victory.

* After the match, Kris Statlander and the debuting Athena (Ember Moon) came to the ring and there was a faceoff with Jade and the Baddies. Tony Khan confirmed that both Hathaway and Athena are “All Elite.”
