Results of Bianca Belair vs. Iyo Sky at WWE Backlash 2023

Bianca Belair vs. Iyo Sky took place at WWE Backlash 2023. Here are the highlights…

* This match was for the RAW women’s title.

* The Puerto Rico crowd was behind Iyo and booed Bianca. There were loud “Iyo” chants during the match.

* Iyo targeted the left arm of Bianca. With her arm hurting, Bianca was having trouble making a comeback. The two exchanged blows and Bianca finally stated to build momentum after hitting a backbreaker. However, Bianca started selling her arm again.

* Bianca managed to deliver a military press slam with one arm followed by a moonsault but Iyo kicked out. Iyo recovered and continued to go after Bianca’s arm. Iyo hit a springboard missile dropkick which sent Bianca to the outside. Iyo came off the top rope with a moonsault to the floor.

* Back in the ring, Iyo went for a top rope hurricanana but Bianca countered it into a sitdown powerbomb that Iyo managed to kick out of. At this point, Damage CTRL showed up on the outside.

* Dakota took a cheap shot with the referee distracted. Iyo went for the moonsault but missed and Bianca won with the KOD.
