Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus in a steel cage match took place at the WWE Payback 2023 PLE. Here are the highlights…

* Becky had the early momentum and deliver multiple exploder suplexes to Trish. Trish managed to get the upper hand and threw Becky into the cage. Becky was able to fight back and attempted to apply the Disarm-her but Trish escaped. The two then took turns sending each other’s heads into the cage.

* Becky hit a powerbomb to Trish of the corner but Trish kicked out and the crowd started a “this is awesome” chant. Trish came back with a Widow’s Peak but Becky kicked out.

* Becky hit a Twist of Fate in tribute to Lita but Trish kicked out. Trish recovered and hit the Strausfaction bulldog but Becky kicked out. Trish then another bulldog one off the top rope but Becky kicked out again.

* Both were on top of the cage and Becky ended up giving Trish a superplex back into the ring. The crowd gave them a standing ovation. Becky put an arm over Trish but Trish managed to kick out.

* Zoey Stark showed up and tried to pull Trish out of the ring. Becky won the tug of war but Zoey slammed the door into Becky’s face. Trish rolled up Becky but Becky kicked out. Becky recovered and hit the mandhandle slam but Zoey broke up the pin. It became a two on one situation in the ring.

* Becky continued to fight and hit the manhandle slam to Zoey. Becky caught Trish trying to escape the cage and won the match with an avalanche manhandle slam.

* After the match, things got heated between Trish and Zoey. Trish slapped Zoey and instead of leaving, Zoey shut the cage door. Zoey ended up laying out Trish with the Z360.
