Results of Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair at WWE Summerslam 2023 PLE

Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE women’s title took place at the WWE Summerslam 2023 PLE in Detroit, Michigan. Here are the highlights…

* Asuka held her own against the challengers in the beginning but then Charlotte started to built up momentum as she took both down with big boots and a double natural selection.

* Bianca started to build momentum with a DDT/neck breaker to both at the same time. Bianca went for a standing moonsault but both got their knees up. They ended up on the outside briefly and Charlotte hit her top rope moonsault to the floor.

* Back in the ring, Asuka put Bianca in the Asuka Lock and Charlotte tried to pin Asuka but it didn’t work. Charlotte hit a moonsault to both but they kicked out.

* Bianca was hurt on the outside and officials went to check on her. Bianca was helped to the back and the match continued.

* Charlotte applied the figure 8 to Asuka. However, Bianca returned and broke it up with a 450 splash but Charlotte kicked out.

* Charlotte applied the figure 4 to Bianca and transitioned into the figure 8 but Asuka blew mist in her face. Asuka tried to capitalize on the situation but Bianca rolled up Asuka with an inside cradle to retain the title.

* After the match, Iyo Sky ran down to the ring and cashed in Money in the Bank. Iyo targeted Bianca’s bad leg and won the title with the moonsault. The crowd erupted in cheers as Iyo celebrated with Bayley and Dakota Kai. There was a loud “you deserve it” chant.
