Report: WWE moving forward with WrestleMania 43 creative plans without The Rock
There has been speculation about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson making an appearance at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that Johnson having a match seems to be “very unlikely” due to his upcoming filming schedule.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE’s creative team is currently operating under the assumption that Johnson will be unavailable for substantial storyline involvement during the upcoming WrestleMania 43 season and buildup. A source told WrestleVotes that plans could change at any time, noting that “these things can change in an instant.”
The reason for Johnson’s expected unavailability hasn’t been confirmed and could involve scheduling, movie commitments, or personal matters. It’s believed that his situation is not related to creative issues.
