Report: Several people within WWE creative feeling increased pressure ahead of SummerSlam 2026

The July 27th 2026 edition of WWE RAW has received an overall 2.73 rating (out of 10) on Cagematch, making it one of the show’s lowest-rated episodes ever on the database.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, several people within WWE creative are feeling increased pressure following RAW, which carried added importance with several Netflix executives in attendance at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. With network officials watching, the show’s issues reportedly created additional scrutiny.

It’s believed that the opening segment was viewed internally as a “bad look” because of the microphone issues and Oba Femi’s botched Fall from Grace finisher. The Danhausen and Joe Hendry concert segment also reportedly failed to meet expectations, while some within WWE felt Ryan Garcia’s appearance was unnecessary given his recent controversies.
