Report on why Adam Pearce was absent from the April 28th 2025 edition of WWE RAW

As seen during the April 28th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Adam Pearce was absent from the show and Smackdown general Nick Aldis filled in for Pearce.

In regards to Pearce’s absence, PWInsider.com noted that “the word making the rounds is that Pearce had a pre-scheduled surgical procedure and missed the TV taping due to that surgery.” PWInsider also shot down internet speculation by stating that “Pearce has not been let go from the company as part of the recent releases.”

A new video was published of Pearce to promote the May 5th edition of RAW. Pearce confirmed that he’ll be back for the event and thanked fans for their well wishes.
