Kevin Owens did not appear on the June 27th 2022 edition of WWE RAW for his scheduled Money in the Bank qualifying match against Ezekiel. Earlier on Monday, the match was still being advertised by WWE on social media. It was announced on commentary that the match was going to be rescheduled to a later date.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com commented on what he heard…
“Kevin Owens – whatever the situation is, is minor, but he was not on the show, which is why the Ezekiel match did not happen as originally scheduled.”
“I did not check if Kevin Owens would be ready by Friday, I just know that he was not ready tonight but it’s nothing serious, is what I was told.” (quotes courtesy of WrestleTalk.com)
Owens said the following on Twitter about why he didn’t appear…
“I didn’t want to go to Texas so I didn’t go.
Leave me alone.”
