Report: Jack Perry still hasn’t signed a new contract with AEW

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com stated that as of Thursday morning, Jack Perry had still not re-signed with AEW. The update follows Alvarez’s comments where he noted that the two sides were negotiating a new agreement.

Perry lost to Zack Sabre Jr. on the June 24th edition of Dynamite. AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Perry’s status during Thursday’s AEW Forbidden Door media call. Here is what Khan said…

“The plan for AEW and Jack Perry is for Jack to be here for a long time. I have believed that Jungle Jack Perry is a great wrestler for many years, and I continue to feel that way. I like Jack very, very much personally, and I think he’s got a very bright future in wrestling. He’s got a great mind for wrestling.”
