Potential storyline direction for the Xavier Woods angle with Kofi Kingston on WWE RAW

Over the past several weeks, there have been growing tensions between New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. In regards to the storyline’s direction, Twitter/X account @WRKDWrestling noted that “there are potential plans that Xavier Woods teased heel turn angle culminates in Big E reuniting the New Day, should E get cleared.” Ibou of WrestlePurists.com wrote “cats out the bag it seems” while quote re-posting what he wrote in September…

“Without spoiling the public, it is the ten year anniversary of the New Day’s formation, and this is a story that both men are passionate about telling. Let them tell their story. It’s not going to go in the conventional and obvious wrestling directions.”

In September, Big E said the following to Sports Talk Philly about potentially returning to wrestling after suffering a broken neck in 2022…

“I get scans again in another three-to-six months, and if they look great and the doctors say it’s healthy for me to go back, then that’s something where we’ll sit down and talk about it. I try not to spend too much time worrying about things I can’t control. It’s nice to know that if I get the opportunity to get back in the ring, and I can do it healthily, then let’s do that. Let’s attack it fully. But if not, I know exactly what I want to do, and I’m excited about that path, too.”
