Possible spoiler regarding a change being made for the “season premiere” of WWE Smackdown
As previously noted, the October 10th 2022 edition of WWE RAW is being billed as the “season premiere” and it is rumored that there could be a few changes to the show including a change with the commentary team.
It appears that there could be a change with the Smackdown commentary team as well. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that “Wade Barrett is slated to be at tomorrow’s Friday Night Smackdown taping in Worcester, MA” and “while it has not been confirmed at this point numerous sources have said that he will be calling the show along with Michael Cole.”
There was a lineup change for this past Tuesday’s edition of NXT which Barrett commented on…
“Fun time calling tonight’s #WWENXT with an old FCW friend in @ByronSaxton! Congrats also to @sudu_tv for handling his first LIVE play-by-play for WWE. The kid killed it! First of many 👊🏻 Oh, and @VicJosephWWE.. hopefully Immigration let you through by next Tuesday eh?!”
