Possible spoiler for the July 16th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown
As previously noted, WWE is reportedly planning at least one surprise for Money in the Bank weekend which begins with tonight’s episode of Smackdown in Houston, Texas.
After losing to NXT Champion Karrion Kross on the May 25th 2021 edition of WWE NXT, there was talk about Finn Balor returning to RAW or Smackdown. Balor has not been seen on NXT television since losing the title.
Twitter account @WrestleVotes has seemingly teased that Balor will be appearing on tonight’s edition of Smackdown. The account tweeted out Balor’s “2 Sweet” and “4 Everyone” phrases along with the “X” symbol that Balor has used.
Balor recently teased a return to RAW or Smackdown in an interview with Ryan Satin…
“I needed to change something and I went to NXT and I found out who I was again and I managed to do that to some level and I’m hopeful at some level that RAW or Smackdown will happen in the future.”

Finn Balor seemingly returning on the #Smackdown side of the equation is interesting. There had been pushes backstage to bring him to #Raw dating back several months now.
I'd have to think he has a prominent spot at SummerSlam if that's the case. But who is to say… #WWE
