People within AEW said to be denying reports that Britt Baker is trying to leave the company
This week, it was reported by Bodyslam.net that Britt Baker is “actively seeking to part ways with AEW.” However, Fightful.com noted that every source they reached out to denied that Britt is trying to leave the company. It was added that those familiar with Britt’s situation said that the idea of her wanting out of AEW or even communicating that to AEW was “news to them.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote that “while there is currently no word on when Baker will return to AEW programming, PWInsider.com can confirm that there have been no discussions about Baker exiting the company, asking for a release or being close to being contractually free.”
Cory Hays of Bodyslam stated the following via Twitter/X…
“Sources have told @ViperReports of Bodyslam that Britt Baker’s name hasn’t come up internally within WWE as a potential signing if she were to become a free agent. Baker has over a year left on her AEW contract.”

In regards to Britt sharing a quote on Instagram about a person knowing their worth, WWE Natalya wrote “I love this” and Britt responded with “careful Nattie, the dirtsheets will have a field day.”
