Wrestlemania Backlash match involving Roman Reigns announced during Smackdown
During the April 29th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown, Roman Reigns interrupted a contract signing between The Usos and RK-Bro for Wrestlemania Backlash. Drew McIntyre ended up coming to ring to make the save and there was a brawl between him and Reigns.

After the segment, Paul Heyman told official Adam Pearce to change the tag match by adding Reigns and McIntyre to the mix and making it a six-man tag-team match. The new match was later made official during the show.
