Pat McAfee says a person wished death upon himself and his daughter following WWE Elimination Chamber

As seen during the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto, Canada, fans booed the singing of the United States national anthem. After the performance, announcer Pat McAfee called out the fans in attendance for booing.

McAfee posted an Instagram story on Wednesday with the following message…

“Good morning beautiful people… Standard Wednesday over here… just some random wishing death upon me & my daughter… Hope you all have a great day.”

McAfee shared a screenshot of private messages that he received from an Instagram user. The person used insults such as “you’re f*cking pathetic,” “punter,” “dickless,” “any time, anywhere, pussy,” and “bitch.” Things escalated in a reply to a story of McAfee and his daughter with the messages “i hope that little brat f*cking dies” and “fa**ot.” Additionally, they threatened, “if you want to sh*t on free speech you better be ready to die you pathetic.”
