News regarding WWE potentially introducing a new show in 2025

The WWE NXT show Level Up was discontinued at the end of 2024 but it appears that another show could be on the way. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline noted the following…

“Level Up is being replaced by something called NXT Evolve although not at the start of the year. We’ve heard to expect it in a few months. It’s a Gabe Sapolsky project and essentially would be people in developmental but not on NXT television regularly, like Level Up. I think that instead of just matches, to do angles and promos and book it more like a television show. It will be shows taped only for television/streaming.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote the following in regards to a potential EVOLVE reunion…

“There have been rumors among talents on the independent scene for a month that WWE is bringing back EVOLVE in some capacity. No one in the company has confirmed this to PWInsider as of today.”

According to Johnson, it’s believed that there would be tapings at the Performance Center utilizing the WWE ID talents. There is speculation that the tapings will take place in late January or early February. Johnson also stated that the end of WWE NXT Level Up was not meant to have it be replaced with EVOLVE but rather with the upcoming A&E “WWE LFG” series.
