News regarding WWE making cutbacks for Wrestlemania 39

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted how there are going to be cutbacks for WWE Wrestlemania 39. However, fans are not expected to notice any changes made from previous events and Meltzer elaborated on the situation…

“Less personnel will be brought in and some of the foreign language announcers that had been brought in previously will be announcing via remote, which is also something that a lot of sports teams and networks are doing more of.”

Meltzer added that the reason for this is to increase profit margin for Wrestlemania 39 as the company continues to prepare for a potential sale. Earlier this month, CNBC.com reported the following…

“WWE is set to meet with potential buyers for the company next month in preparation for first-round bids, two of the people said. There’s no assurance a transaction will take place.”
