News regarding how much stock Vince McMahon still has in WWE’s parent company TKO

It was reported by The Wall Street Journal in January of 2024 that Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis in a Connecticut federal court. McMahon was accused of sex trafficking in the complaint. Despite Vince’s resignation from WWE and UFC parent company TKO Group Holdings, TKO COO Mark Shapiro confirmed with CNBC Sports that Vince is still a shareholder in the company.

In regards to how much stock Vince owns, a SEC 13G filing revealed that his current allotment sits at 8,021,405 shares as of September 30th 2024. With Vince’s shares accounting for 9.88% of class A stock, it is required for there to be disclosure as he exceeds 5% ownership of a specific class of stock. However, Vince’s portion of all TKO shares remains under 5% and he has no voting rights.

Vince is reportedly working on setting up a post-WWE company.
