News regarding Chelsea Green’s reputation in WWE following her women’s United States title loss

As seen during the April 25th 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown, Zelina Vega defeated Chelsea Green to become the new Women’s United States champion. Chelsea had been the first women’s U.S. title holder.

According to PWInsider.com, Chelsea has earned consistent internal praise over recent months for her versatility in representing WWE beyond her in-ring performances. Chelsea has reportedly gained a strong reputation for her willingness to “jump in and do any media needed” which includes official interviews, community outreach, and VIP fan engagement events. Chelsea’s work during the busy WrestleMania 41 weekend was said to be have been a particular example of her dedication.

PWInsider also noted that sources within WWE have compared Chelsea favorably to The Miz, with one noting she’s seen as a “company MVP” for her work as a WWE ambassador.
