News regarding Bryan Danielson’s future with AEW following promo from 9/9/23 edition of Collision

As seen during the September 9th 2023 edition of AEW Collision, Bryan Danielson teased that 2024 will be his last year as a full-time wrestler. According to Justin Barrasso of SI.com, Danielson is expected to remain part of AEW for the foreseeable future despite stepping away from a full-time schedule in 2024.

Barrasso noted the following…

“Multiple people close to the situation confirmed with Sports Illustrated that Danielson will be stepping away from wrestling full-time in the next year, yet may remain a special attraction for AEW.”

In addition to wrestling, Danielson has been helping AEW President Tony Khan with booking in recent months. Khan told HollywoodReporter.com that if he is ever “incapacitated” for some reason, his father should turn to Danielson to run the company.
