News regarding Becky Lynch’s status with WWE following her title match loss at Wrestlemania 40

As seen during the WWE Wrestlemania 40 Saturday PLE, Becky Lynch was unsuccessful in her attempt to capture the women’s world title from Rhea Ripley. Just prior to Wrestlemania, Becky told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that she is in the “final two months” of her deal with WWE.

In regards to Becky’s status with WWE, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com stated the following this week…

“We are told that the company is making it a point to insure that Becky Lynch’s deal is also completed before it expires. One source believes Lynch has about 8 weeks left in her current deal, but we have not been able to 100% confirm the accuracy of that claim.”

Last week, there were reports that Becky was taking time off from WWE along with her husband Seth Rollins. However, the WWE United Kingdom account on Twitter/X promoted the company’s upcoming European tour and Becky commented by writing the following…

“But the internet said I was taking time off. See you soon, Europe.”
