New details regarding Saraya’s contract with AEW and what it implies

As seen during the September 22nd 2022 Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite, former WWE star Saraya (Paige) made her debut with the company.

According to Fightful Select, the belief is that Paige agreed to a three-year contract with AEW but it’s not confirmed if there are option years at play like what some other stars have. Fightful noted that “we’re told for the amount of money it was signed for ‘largely implies that she’ll be wrestling in some capacity'” and “numerous talent within AEW had went to bat for Saraya and put in good words, but one AEW name said ‘she didn’t need it, since there was interest when she became available.'” People within AEW are said to be excited about Saraya joining the company.
