MVP addresses claim that people in wrestling refer to AEW President Tony Khan as “Snowman”
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about the relationship between AEW President Tony Khan and media personality Ariel Helwani…
“AEW talent was not allowed on Ariel Helwani’s show after Helwani called an interview with Tony Khan the worst of his career, even to the point of calling him ‘Snowman’ (the WWE insider term among some for him), but I guess it’s been worked out with Ricochet and Toni Storm on the show this week leading to the head-to-head PPV night.”
In an interview with TMZ, AEW star MVP was asked about the claim that Khan is referred to as “Snowman” – a slang term for a cocaine user and/or dealer. Here was MVP’s response…
“Not us [in AEW]. I don’t know where that came from. I don’t know who put that out there. The only snowman I know is Jeezy, Jeezy the Snowman, you know. So, yeah. Hey, everybody got nicknames for different people, you know, but that I have—that’s not anything I’ve ever called him or I haven’t heard that. Again, you got to remember, man, you know, these people that run these, what traditionally called dirt sheets—it’s all clickbait.”
