Multiple WWE stars apparently did not know they were changing brands in the 2023 Draft
In regards to the 2023 WWE Draft results from Smackdown, it appears that multiple WWE stars did not know they were changing brands. PWInsider.com noted that there were “some talents, including some big names, who had no idea they would be moved until it was announced this past Friday.”
While appearing on Busted Open Radio, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre claimed that they didn’t know they were being called up to the main roster from NXT…
Fyre: “I’ve been saying it for days. I still don’t feel like it’s quite settled in yet. We had no idea. No idea that we were going to be drafted.”
